Update January 2010
Dear Brothers in Christ,
I pray this note will find you well enjoying God´s blessings and opportunities to serve Him.
I return from Chiapas, Mexico on the 16th of December after conducting three Inductive Bible Seminars in three different cities. 67 pastors assisted to the seminars. At the end of each seminar the pastors asked me to return in June, I have received letters from several pastors agreeing to host a seminar in their churches. I have already six seminars scheduled from the 2nd of June to the eighth of July. Praise the Lord for that! There is so much enthusiasm among the pastors and congregations that they are already promoting these events. What a blessing!
Brother Rod Shaddeau from Orlando, Florida went with me for most of the outreach and shared his testimony and taught. Brother Rod is praying to go again to Chiapas in June, but this time with his better half, sister Karen.
On the other hand, Lord willing I will be flying to Santa Cruz, Bolivia on the 5th of March to conduct five IBS Seminars. Pastor Dan Finfrock director of ICM ministries will be going for a week to conduct the first seminar, Also Dr. Bill Cullins and Dr. Brad Barez will go as well to perform consultations to the people. And Pastor Raul Villasenor director of RICE Care ministries will be with us distributing medicines.
On the second part of this trip Eng. Jay Doty from Saint Louis Missouri will joint me to go to three Amazon basin towns in the North part of Bolivia.
Prayer requests:
Please pray for the pastors and congregations from different countries in South America and Mexico committed to this ministry.
Pray for good health and safety, as we will be traveling in buses, old Cessna planes and through difficult places.
Ministry needs:
Ministry monthly finances.
Each trip requires at least $3,500.00 to 4,000.00 dollars. Personally I could not think of a better place to invest our time and money.
Invitation:
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to come along in one of our trips, it is a tremendous blessing for the people, to us and to our Lord Jesus Christ.

San Joaquin, Bolivia

Thirty seven brothers and sisters graduated from the correspondence Seminar offered by Seguidores De Cristo. These brothers and sisters are already in ministry in the Amazon jungle. Some are pastors, some evangelists, Sunday school teachers, youth leaders and other areas of ministry! Many expressed how grateful they are to the Lord for this course. Now they feel more equip to minister and a better understanding to their call.
During the three days in San Joaquin I taught the IBS Seminar to the graduates. I invited pastor Rosendo Vaca, from Trinidad, Bolivia to teach in between sessions of the seminar. Pastor Rosendo took the IBS seminar two years ago and has been teaching the Bible inductively ever since. It was phenomenal to see and hear him teach God's Word using what he has learned!

Tarija Televsion Interview

While in Tarija June 15 -21, I was invited to be interviewed on the Christian television station to share more about IBS! This is cool because the desire of Intensive Care Ministries and Seguidores de Cristo is that more pastors and leaders would learn of these Seminars, that God's word could be studied and taught in depth.

Seminar in Tarija, Bolivia. June 15th through the 18th
June 15th through the 18th
The highlight for me the two kids that attended. A missionary sent two boys ages 11 and 12 to take the IBS seminar, because of their hunger and interest in God's Word. To some it may seem crazy to allow two pre-teens attend a Bible Seminar, but it makes us excited! The Lord has a plan for these boys!
I remember when we lived in Chiapas, Mexico and had the STSDC Seminars, there were teenage boys that took the Seminar and today are pastors of their own congregations! We pray for these two boys, may they keep their eyes on Jesus and grow to be men of god!
What a blessing to see the excitement of receiving the IBS study books.

IBS by Candle Light
On the second day of the seminar in Villa Monte, there was a black out in the whole city about one hour before the class was going to start. The first thing that came to my mind was: "no one is going to show up tonight." To my surprise the pastor purchased candles and every one showed up! When the Lord does allows experiences of this nature,it gives me motivation. I pray this encourage you and motivate you as well! To never allow anything to stop you or come in your way of walking with our God! In the walk.
